Haven is rolling out in-home Wi-Fi to holiday homes at 27 of its parks, using routers that connect to the internet over a mobile 5G signal rather than a fixed line. The news was announced by Vodafone on 26 October 2026, as the latest stage of a partnership between the two companies.
What has been announced?
According to the Vodafone News Centre, the Haven holiday home Wi-Fi service uses Wi-Fi routers that are connected to the wider internet by VodafoneThree 5G coverage, rather than by copper or fibre optic cables. Vodafone says the routers are installed in every holiday home across 27 parks.
The rollout follows initial trials at two Haven parks, which Vodafone names as Hafan y Mor, Pwllheli and Devon Cliffs. The service is delivered through Vodafone Business, the enterprise arm of VodafoneThree.
Part of a partnership announced in 2024
Vodafone describes the Wi-Fi rollout as the latest part of a wider multi-million-pound partnership announced in October 2024. Since then, it says, Haven parks and their neighbouring coastal communities have benefited from dedicated Vodafone 4G and 5G connectivity.
What Haven and Vodafone said
Simon Palethorpe, CEO of Haven, said: "Our 'home from home' Wi Fi will enable guests to access high speed Wi Fi just as they would at home. This is another reason why more families are choosing to holiday in the UK and enjoy a short break by the coast."
Nick Gliddon, Business Director at VodafoneThree, said the partnership "delivers fast and reliable 5G Wi Fi straight to holiday homes, giving families the quality of service they expect, while helping Haven's teams work efficiently behind the scenes."
Why 5G rather than fibre?
The key detail in the announcement is the connection method. According to Vodafone, the routers connect to the internet over its 5G mobile network, rather than through copper or fibre optic cables, and then provide Wi-Fi inside the holiday home.
Vodafone's announcement does not go into installation costs or speeds, so we would not read anything into those from this news alone.
What owners should know
The announcement is written around Haven's guests and holiday homes. It does not list which 27 parks are included, and it does not say whether privately owned holiday homes are part of the rollout, or whether any charge applies to owners.
If you own a holiday home on a Haven park and want to know whether the service is available in your caravan, the best step is to ask your park team directly. They will be able to confirm what applies on your park and on what terms.

Connectivity as a selling point for statics
Haven's own CEO frames Wi-Fi as part of the "home from home" experience. For static caravan owners, that is worth bearing in mind. When a holiday home or its park can offer a reliable connection, it is a feature you can point to when describing the caravan to a buyer, alongside the usual details such as make, model, year, condition and pitch.
If you are listing a static yourself, it is sensible to check with your park exactly what connectivity is available on your pitch, so that anything you mention to buyers is accurate.
