There is some cheerful news from the Llŷn Peninsula for holiday home owners who like to get out on the water. Pario Holiday Parks has signed a tenancy agreement with Gwynedd Council for the former RNLI building in Pwllheli, next to its Gimblet Rock Holiday Park.

The park group shared the news with its owners on 20 October 2026, and Insider Media reported it the following day, describing Pario as the building's "new custodian".

A new facility just for owners

According to Pario, the building will be used for boat storage and launching. It will be an additional facility exclusively for holiday home owners at Gimblet Rock and at Crugan Holiday Park, which Insider Media notes is nearby in Llanbedrog.

Caroline Jones, Park Manager of both Gimblet Rock and Crugan, received the keys from Gethin Jones, Senior Estates Surveyor at Cyngor Gwynedd (Gwynedd Council). Pario says it is "really excited about what this will offer our owners" and looks forward to sharing more details soon.

How owners can register interest

Pario's announcement invites owners who would like to register their interest to contact Caroline, the Park Manager, directly. Full details of how the facility will run have not yet been published, so owners at the two parks may want to keep an eye out for further updates from the park.

Working with Hafan Pwllheli Marina

Insider Media reports that Pario is set to work closely with Sarah Hattle and the team at Hafan Pwllheli Marina as it brings the building into use for its owners.

Samantha Williams, owner of Pario Holiday Parks, said: "We're really pleased to be able to offer this additional facility to our owners and look forward to working closely with Sarah Hattle and her team at Hafan Pwllheli Marina."

Local jobs for local people

According to Insider Media, the investment will also create employment opportunities for local people. Samantha Williams added: "As a North Wales family-run business, we are very proud to be investing further in the area and helping to create local jobs for local people."

About Pario Holiday Parks

  • Crugan Holiday Park in Llanbedrog

More water access plans at Gimblet Rock

This is not the only waterside news from Gimblet Rock this month. Earlier in October we reported that Gimblet Rock in Pwllheli had been given the go-ahead for a floating pontoon and pedestrian gangway. Both stories involve access to the water around Pwllheli harbour.
