Last valuation guide update: October 2026

Introduction

The ABI Arizona is an entry-level holiday caravan that ABI produces for parks rather than selling from its main catalogue. It was first built for one dealer and later offered through other parks, and it is not on ABI's website or in its 2026 brochure. This guide covers the Arizona and Arizona Premier, how to identify one and how a trade valuation works.

Model history

ABI began in 1972, when Ace Caravans and Belmont Caravans of Beverley merged as Ace Belmont International. After a period of US ownership, a management buyout in 2001 took ABI out of touring caravans to focus on holiday homes and lodges, and a further management buyout in 2020 bought out private equity investor CBPE. ABI is an independent manufacturer based in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Leisuredays reviewed the 2021 ABI Arizona Premier and explained that the Arizona is produced for parks as an entry-level holiday caravan. It was first built for one dealer and later offered through other parks, and is not listed on ABI's website. The review model, a 36 x 12 two-bed, cost £39,950 including decking. Dated examples we found run from 2021 to 2024, and new Arizona Premiers are still advertised. We could not establish the first year.

How to identify an ABI Arizona

  • Start with the plate and paperwork. The manufacturer plate, serial or chassis number and original paperwork are the most reliable way to confirm the model and year.
  • Measure it yourself. Check the length and width with a tape rather than relying on an advert headline.
  • Look for a small front bay window that does not open (Leisuredays).
  • Look for a split kitchen with no cooker hood and no fitted microwave (2021 Premier).
  • On the Premier, look for an en-suite WC with basin.
  • Check whether the plate says Arizona or Arizona Premier.
  • An asking price is not a value. What a park or dealer is asking tells you little about what the caravan is worth to a trade buyer.

Specs and typical layout

This is a summary of the sources we found, not a full factory specification for every year.

  • Size: 36 x 12 two-bed, sleeps up to 6, built to EN1647 (2021 Premier review spec box; the review text also mentions 36 x 10, but adverts all say 36 x 12)
  • 2021 Premier standard: galvanised chassis, central heating, double glazing (front bay windows do not open), electric fire, en-suite WC and basin
  • Not fitted on the 2021 Premier: cooker hood, microwave
  • Other notes (Leisuredays): strong kitchen storage, limited bedroom wall storage

How much is an ABI Arizona worth?

Individual valuation recommended. We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for the Arizona because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference. Park prices for 2021 examples alone range from £31,500 to £50,000, which reflects the pitch and park more than the caravan, and we could not confirm how the standard and Premier versions differ.

What would SCB actually pay?

Our offer is a trade price for the caravan itself, collected from where it stands. It is based on the year, confirmed size and layout, condition (damp, floors, roof and chassis), heating and glazing, and how straightforward collection will be, measured against what we can realistically resell it for. For an Arizona we ask whether it is a Premier and check the chassis and heating.

A trade offer will normally be lower than the retail, park and private asking prices below. Those prices often include a pitch, siting, connections, decking, site fees or a dealer margin, and the seller has time to wait for the right buyer. A trade buyer pays for the caravan alone, arranges collection and takes on the cost and risk of resale. Individual valuation recommended: send us the plate details and some photos and we will give you a figure for your caravan.

Online prices and price context

  • Sited park price (new, includes siting and connection): £54,995 (reduced from £57,995) for an Arizona Premier 36 x 12 at Lossiemouth (Park Holidays, checked October 2026)
  • Sited park asking: £50,000 for a 2021 Arizona Premier at Alberta, Kent (Park Holidays)
  • Sited park asking: £39,995 for a 2021 Arizona 36 x 12 at Seawick (Park Holidays)
  • Sited park asking: £31,500 for a 2021 Arizona Premier at Partingtons
  • Park deal (2021): £39,950 including decking for the Arizona Premier reviewed by Leisuredays

All of these include a pitch, and the new Lossiemouth price also includes siting, connection and transport. We found no ABI list price because the Arizona is not in ABI's catalogue. These are list, dealer, park or private asking prices; we give the year where the source states one. None of them is a trade or cash buyer price, and none should be read as what a trade buyer would pay.

Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean

  • Manufacturer list price (RRP) and ex-works price: what a new caravan costs from the maker or its dealers. Ex-works usually excludes delivery and siting. Some sources state whether VAT is included and some do not; where a source does not say, we say so, and those figures should not be compared directly with prices that include VAT.
  • Dealer retail asking (off-site): a dealer's price for a caravan not on a pitch. It includes the dealer's margin and often preparation or a warranty, and delivery and siting are usually extra.
  • Sited park asking: a price for a caravan on a park pitch. It often includes the pitch, siting, connections, sometimes decking and part of the site fees, and the park's margin.
  • Private asking: what an owner hopes to get. It can be higher than trade but may take a long time, and buyers often need the park's approval and a pitch.
  • Trade or cash buyer value: what a trade buyer pays for the caravan alone, collected. It is the lowest of these figures because the buyer takes on collection, any refurbishment and the resale risk, but it is usually the quickest and simplest exit.

What affects ABI Arizona value?

  • Version: Arizona or Arizona Premier.
  • Year: 2021 onwards.
  • Chassis and heating.
  • Pitch or no pitch: park prices vary widely by park.
  • Condition: damp, soft floors, roof, windows and chassis condition matter more than the model name.
  • Appliances and fittings: present, safe and working.
  • Collection access: how easy it is to get a vehicle to the caravan and move it off the pitch.

Known features and quirks

  • Not in ABI's brochures because it is produced for parks.
  • The front bay windows do not open.
  • No cooker hood or microwave was fitted on the 2021 Premier review model.
