Last valuation guide update: October 2026
Introduction
Trying to work out what an ABI Blenheim is worth, or which version you have? The Blenheim is a 12 ft wide ABI holiday home that was new for the 2016 season and appears in ABI brochures up to the 2020 Collection. It was built in 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom layouts, and the lengths changed from one brochure year to the next. This guide sets out what each year's brochure and review show, how to identify a Blenheim, and why park asking prices are not trade values.

Model history
Launch (2016 season). Leisuredays reviewed the ABI Blenheim in December 2015 as "new for 2016" and a brand new addition to ABI's range, positioned as a family caravan. The review model was the 38 x 12, 3-bedroom version, with two other layouts listed: 36 x 12 2-bed and 38 x 12 2-bed. We found no earlier ABI caravan called Blenheim, so examples date from about 2016 to 2020.
The 2016 review describes:
- Pale cream aluminium cladding with a black steel pantile roof
- Single-glazed uPVC windows as standard, with Thermaglass double glazing optional
- Steel chassis, with pre-galvanised or fully galvanised versions as options (the review's one minus point was that full galvanising should have been standard)
- 50 mm wall insulation and 100 mm in the roof and floor
- Winter packs available, including double glazing, 300 W bedroom heaters and domestic central heating
- Corner lounge seating with a pull-out bed and a panel flame-effect electric fire
- L-shaped kitchen with a four-burner cooker, externally vented cooker hood, 40 mm worktops and soft-close doors; no fridge or freezer as standard, both optional
- Fixed dinette or table and chairs; USB points in bedrooms
- Master bedroom with storage double bed and a corner ensuite with WC and basin; family shower room
- 6 berths on the 3-bedroom review model (two twin rooms and one double)
- Ex-works price quoted at £29,885.15 including VAT (2016, historical new price)
2018 Collection. ABI's 2018 brochure lists the Blenheim as 36 x 12 2-bed, 38 x 12 2-bed and 39 x 12 3-bed, with matt Sandstone aluminium cladding, an updated colour scheme, upgraded kitchen, USB points in all bedrooms and the lounge, and ensuite toilets on all versions. We did not find a 2017 brochure to check.
2019 Collection. Sizes change to 37 x 12 2-bed, 39 x 12 2-bed and 40 x 12 3-bed, with Glace aluminium cladding, an updated colour scheme, upgraded kitchen, refreshed bedrooms and an optional armchair.
2020 Collection. The same three sizes, with matt Champagne cladding, herringbone-effect flooring and contrast-piped cushions. This is the last ABI brochure in which we found the Blenheim.
After 2020. ABI's 2020-2021 Collection brochure does not include the Blenheim, and nor do the 2022 and 2025 brochures or ABI's 2027 collection online (checked October 2026). We have not found an ABI statement on when production ended or what, if anything, replaced it, so we do not name a successor.
How to identify an ABI Blenheim
- Start with the paperwork. Check the manufacturer plate, serial or chassis information and original paperwork, then confirm the model against the dimensions, layout and specification. Do not assume the plate shows the model name, bedroom count or every dimension.
- Width. 12 ft. A 13 ft or 14 ft wide caravan is not a Blenheim.
- Length matched to year. A 36 or 38 ft example points to the 2016 to 2018 era; 37, 39 or 40 ft points to the 2019 or 2020 brochures. A 39 x 12 3-bed matches the 2018 brochure, while a 39 x 12 2-bed matches 2019 or 2020. If the year and length do not match any brochure line, measure again and check the paperwork, because adverts sometimes round sizes.
- Bedrooms. 2-bed and 3-bed versions both exist. The master has a corner ensuite with toilet and basin; the family shower room is separate.
- Lounge and kitchen. Corner seating with a pull-out bed, an electric fire, and an L-shaped kitchen with 40 mm worktops are consistent across the review and brochures.
- Cladding colour can help with the year: pale cream (2016 review), Sandstone (2018), Glace (2019), Champagne (2020). Treat it as a clue, not proof.
- "Blenheim Premier". Some adverts say Blenheim Premier. We did not find a Premier version in the ABI brochures checked, so treat the word as a dealer description unless the plate or paperwork says otherwise.
Specs and typical layout
2016 (Leisuredays review, 38 x 12 3-bed): see the list in Model history. Single glazing, standard steel chassis and no fridge as standard, with upgrades as options.
2018 brochure, listed as included: electric fire, extra sockets, underlay, fixed dinette, vented cooker hood, 40 mm worktops, soft-close doors, lift-up bed, king-size bed in 2-bed models, TV points, separate ensuite toilet, shaver socket and extractor fans.
2018 brochure, listed as options: pre-galvanised or fully galvanised chassis, Low E Thermaglass double glazing, winter electric pack, winter premium pack, patio doors, fridge or fridge-freezer, integrated microwave, upgraded mattresses, Bluetooth sound, freestanding table and chairs, voiles and a space-saver bed.
2019 and 2020 brochures: 37, 39 and 40 ft lengths, with the colour and trim updates described above.
Because so much was optional, two Blenheims of the same year can be quite different. Many sited examples on sale now have double glazing and central heating, but that was usually an option or winter pack, not the base specification.
Berths: the 2016 review lists 6 berths for the 3-bed. Adverts commonly list 2-bed Blenheims as sleeping 6, and one private 3-bed advert says sleeps 8, which probably counts the pull-out bed. Confirm berths from the paperwork and the beds actually fitted.
How much is an ABI Blenheim worth?
Individual valuation recommended. The Blenheim was new for 2016 and appears in ABI brochures to 2020, so examples date from about 2016 to 2020. We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference. Its lengths changed between brochure years and glazing, heating and chassis were options, so one range would mislead.
What would SCB actually pay?
The offer depends on the year, length and bedrooms, whether double glazing and central heating are fitted, the chassis type, condition (especially damp, floors and windows), whether it has been used for hire, and access for collection. Our offer will be below a sited park asking price because it is for the caravan alone and reflects transport, refurbishment and resale risk.
Online prices and price context
Different kinds of number, not interchangeable:
- Historical ex-works price (2016): £29,885.15 including VAT for the 2016 38 x 12 3-bed, as quoted in Leisuredays' December 2015 review. A new price from 2016, not a used value.
- Sited park asking prices (checked October 2026): £54,995 for a 2020 Blenheim, 39 x 12, 2-bed, double glazed and centrally heated, with decking and 2026 and 2027 pitch fees included; £27,495 for a 2016 Blenheim, 36 x 12, 2-bed, ex-hire with new decking, pitch fee stated separately.
- Directory listing (checked October 2026): £39,545 for a 2019 Blenheim listed as 36 x 12 2-bed. The 2019 brochure lists 37, 39 and 40 ft lengths, so treat the stated size with caution.
- Off-site dealer asking price: an off-site dealer advertised a 2016 "Blenheim Premier" 38 x 12 3-bed at £11,950. That is far below the sited asks because it carries no pitch, siting or fees, and it is still a retail asking price, not a trade value.
- Private on-pitch advert (date not shown): £29,500 for a 2017 Blenheim, 38 x 12, 3-bed, on pitch.
VAT treatment of the asking prices is not stated. Sited prices include the pitch and park package. None of these is what a Blenheim fetches when sold for removal.
Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean
- Manufacturer RRP or ex-works price: what a new caravan cost from the factory or its price list in a given year. VAT treatment is not always stated, and siting, transport and connections are extra.
- Dealer or park retail asking price: what a seller hopes to get. A sited park price usually includes the pitch, siting, connections, sometimes decking and site fees, and the seller's margin. An off-site dealer price usually includes refurbishment, warranty and margin.
- Private asking price: often lower than retail, but the seller carries the risk, time and transport, and many parks restrict private sales on the pitch.
- Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as Static Caravan Buyer pays for the caravan alone, collected from the pitch, with the buyer taking on transport, refurbishment and resale. It is lower than retail because those costs and risks move to the buyer.
An asking price is not a sale price, and none of the online figures in this guide is a trade value.
What affects ABI Blenheim value?
- Year and brochure era (2016 to 2018 or 2019 to 2020)
- Length and bedrooms: 36 to 40 ft, 2-bed or 3-bed
- Double glazing and central heating, and whether they work
- Chassis: standard, pre-galvanised or fully galvanised
- Ex-hire use: heavier wear on floors, upholstery and fittings
- Condition: damp, soft floors, window seals, roof, kitchen and shower room
- Optional extras still fitted: patio doors, fridge-freezer, microwave, Bluetooth sound
- Collection access on the park
Known features and quirks
- Lengths change by year. The biggest source of confusion. Check your length against the brochure year before comparing adverts.
- Single glazing as standard in 2016. Double glazing and central heating were options or winter packs.
- No fridge as standard in 2016. Fridge and fridge-freezer were options in the 2016 review and the 2018 brochure.
- Ensuite toilet, not shower. The master ensuite has a toilet and basin; the shower is in the family shower room.
- "Premier" in adverts. A dealer description, not a brochure version we could find.
- No confirmed successor. We have not found evidence of which model, if any, ABI saw as its replacement.
FAQs
When was the ABI Blenheim made?
Leisuredays described it as new for 2016, and it appears in ABI brochures up to the 2020 Collection. We have not confirmed exactly when production ended.
What sizes does the ABI Blenheim come in?
All 12 ft wide. The 2016 review lists 36 x 12 2-bed, 38 x 12 2-bed and 38 x 12 3-bed. The 2018 brochure lists 36, 38 and 39 ft, and the 2019 and 2020 brochures list 37, 39 and 40 ft.
Does the ABI Blenheim have double glazing and central heating?
Not as standard in the 2016 review. Both were options. Many examples have them fitted, but check the caravan itself.
Is the ABI Blenheim residential spec?
The 2016 review lists it as an EN 1647 holiday home. We found no residential (BS 3632) version in the brochures checked.
How much is a used ABI Blenheim worth?
Individual valuation recommended. Online asking prices run from about £12,000 off-site to about £55,000 sited with fees, which shows how much the pitch and package matter. None of those is a trade value.
Selling an ABI Blenheim
Moving off a park, a slow private sale or a caravan that no longer gets used are common reasons owners look at a direct sale. Photos of the plate, the outside, the lounge, kitchen and bedrooms help us give an accurate figure first time.
SCB process
- Call 0800 644 5000 or use the free offer form on our website.
- Tell us what the manufacturer plate and paperwork say: the year, size, bedrooms, heating and glazing, condition and where the caravan is sited. Photos help.
- Our team normally aims to contact you within 24 hours, and aims to make an offer within 48 hours of that contact. These are aims, not guarantees.
- If you accept, we arrange collection on a date that works for you and the park.
- Payment is made on collection day before the caravan is loaded.
There are no estate-agent fees and no commission.
