Introduction

The Atlas Chorus name ran through several generations, from the 2012 Chorus Super to the 2022 Chorus 5. This guide explains what changed, how to identify your Chorus, what Atlas's 2025 administration means for owners, and how a Chorus is valued for sale.

Model history

The Chorus name ran through several generations: Atlas called its 2022 version the 'Chorus 5', and a 2012 'Chorus Super' is still advertised. For 2022 Atlas listed 28, 32, 36, 39 and 40ft x 12ft layouts, with central heating, double glazing and extra insulation as standard and an en-suite WC on all but the 28ft. By 2025 dealers listed four layouts from 32 to 40ft.

Atlas Leisure Homes, a Hull manufacturer trading since 1973, entered administration in March 2025. In June 2025 the Rix Group bought the Atlas name, model designs and some equipment and said it would bring the brand back; parks have since advertised new 2026 Atlas models, including the Debonair. Atlas caravans built before 2025 were made by the original Hull company, so check warranty cover with the park or dealer.

We found no advert for a Chorus built after the 2025 change of ownership, so check the plate and paperwork on any Chorus sold as new or nearly new.

How to identify an Atlas Chorus

• Start with the plate and paperwork. Check the manufacturer plate, serial or chassis number and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the measured size, layout and specification.
• 39 x 12 two-bed: king-size bed and a second shower (Park Home and Holiday Caravan, 2022).
• 28ft Chorus: no en-suite WC.
• 2022-era models: copper glass splashback and graphite bedroom furniture.
• Chorus Super: an older variant (a 2012 35 x 12 two-bed is advertised); check the plate for the exact name.
• Measure it yourself. Advert headlines often round sizes or misstate the width.

How much is an Atlas Chorus worth?

There is no single figure for an Atlas Chorus. A cash offer depends on the individual caravan: its year, confirmed size and layout, specification, condition, and what collection involves. The name covers older Chorus and Chorus Super models as well as the 2022 to 2025 Chorus 5, with different specification, so one range would mislead.

What would SCB actually pay?

We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference.

What we pay for an Atlas Chorus is a trade price for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch. It will be below park, dealer and private asking prices, because those include things a trade buyer does not get (a pitch, siting, site-fee packages, warranties and the seller's margin) and leave out costs a trade buyer carries (collection, transport, refurbishment and resale).

The park price includes a pitch and a site-fee offer; the dealer price is for an off-site caravan with no pitch. Neither states its VAT basis. They are not comparable with each other or with a trade value.

Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean

• Manufacturer RRP or list price: what the maker quotes for a new caravan, usually before options, delivery, siting and pitch fees. Check whether VAT is included.
• Ex-works price: the factory price for a new unit before delivery and siting; review sites quote it for the model year they tested.
• Dealer retail asking price: a dealer's price for new or used stock. Off-site dealer prices usually exclude a pitch; dealer margin is built in.
• Sited park asking price: what a park asks for a caravan already on a pitch. It often includes siting, connections, steps, decking and sometimes a period of site fees, plus the park's margin.
• Private asking price: what an owner hopes to get, often with the caravan staying on its pitch, subject to park approval and any park commission.
• Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as SCB pays for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch and collected. It is lower than retail because the buyer pays for collection, transport, any refurbishment, a new pitch or resale, and takes on the risk.

An asking price is not a sale price, and neither is what a trade buyer pays. None of the figures in this guide is an SCB purchase price.

What affects Atlas Chorus value?

• Year and paperwork. The plate, serial number and any original paperwork confirm the model year and specification.
• Confirmed size and layout. Measured length, width and bedroom count, not an advert headline.
• Heating and glazing. Whether central heating and double glazing were fitted, and whether the heating works.
• Condition. Damp, roof, floors, windows, cladding and chassis condition matter more than cosmetic finish.
• Appliances and fittings. Whether they are present, safe and working.
• Collection access. Ground conditions, access for the transport vehicle and the caravan's width all affect cost.
• Pitch or no pitch. A trade buyer is buying the caravan, not the pitch, so pitch value and site-fee packages do not transfer.

Known features and quirks

• The 39ft two-bed adds a second shower and a king-size bed.
• The 28ft version has no en-suite WC.
• Atlas warranty cover on pre-2025 caravans may be affected by the administration; check with the park or dealer.

Can I sell it and keep the pitch?

No. A trade buyer buys the caravan and removes it. Talk to your park about notice, any final site fees and what happens to the pitch.
