Model history
The Knightsbridge has been in Pemberton's range for well over a decade. Leisuredays reviewed a 42ft x 14ft two-bedroom Knightsbridge in February 2009 (a three-bedroom option was available) and the 2016 model, again 42 x 14, built to BS 3632 on the review unit, at an ex-works price of £72,990 including VAT.
In October 2026 Pemberton lists one 43 x 14 two-bedroom layout, from £119,643 including VAT, and says the Knightsbridge is also available as a lodge and as a park home.
How to identify a Pemberton Knightsbridge
- Start with the plate and paperwork. Check the manufacturer plate, serial or chassis number and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the measured size, layout and specification.
- 14ft wide. Current models have a dormer window over the side entrance and a skylight above the kitchen.
- Bathrooms: current models have a full bath in the en-suite and a shower in the family shower room.
- Length: 42ft on the 2009 and 2016 models; 43ft on the current model.
- BS 3632: ask for the certificate if it is sold as residential specification.
- Measure it yourself. Advert headlines often round sizes or misstate the width.
Specs and typical layout
This is a summary of the sources we used, not a full factory specification for every year.
- Sizes: 42 x 14 (2009, 2016); 43 x 14 (current)
- Bedrooms: 2 (3-bed option in 2009)
- Current standard: pre-galvanised twin-axle chassis, woodgrain Chateaux aluminium cladding, gas combi central heating, PVCu double glazing, four-panel patio doors, dormer over the side door, skylight, en-suite with full bath
- Options: BS 3632 residential specification; electric heating (2016)
How much is a Pemberton Knightsbridge worth?
There is no single figure for a Pemberton Knightsbridge. A cash offer depends on the individual caravan: its year, confirmed size and layout, specification, condition, and what collection involves. The model spans 2009 to 2026, holiday and BS 3632 builds, and 42ft and 43ft lengths, so a single range would mislead.
Individual valuation recommended.
What would SCB actually pay?
We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference. As a 14ft-wide unit, collection planning matters more than for a 12ft caravan.
What we pay for a Pemberton Knightsbridge is a trade price for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch. It will be below park, dealer and private asking prices, because those include things a trade buyer does not get (a pitch, siting, site-fee packages, warranties and the seller's margin) and leave out costs a trade buyer carries (collection, transport, refurbishment and resale).
Online prices and price context
- Manufacturer list price, current (inc VAT): from £119,643 (Pemberton website, October 2026)
- Ex-works, 2016 (inc VAT): £72,990 (Leisuredays)
The 2016 figure is an ex-works price for a BS 3632 review unit, not a used value. The current list price excludes delivery, siting and the pitch.
Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean
- Manufacturer RRP or list price: what the maker quotes for a new caravan, usually before options, delivery, siting and pitch fees. Check whether VAT is included.
- Ex-works price: the factory price for a new unit before delivery and siting; review sites quote it for the model year they tested.
- Dealer retail asking price: a dealer's price for new or used stock. Off-site dealer prices usually exclude a pitch; dealer margin is built in.
- Sited park asking price: what a park asks for a caravan already on a pitch. It often includes siting, connections, steps, decking and sometimes a period of site fees, plus the park's margin.
- Private asking price: what an owner hopes to get, often with the caravan staying on its pitch, subject to park approval and any park commission.
- Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as SCB pays for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch and collected. It is lower than retail because the buyer pays for collection, transport, any refurbishment, a new pitch or resale, and takes on the risk.
An asking price is not a sale price, and neither is what a trade buyer pays. None of the figures in this guide is an SCB purchase price.
What affects Pemberton Knightsbridge value?
- Year and paperwork. The plate, serial number and any original paperwork confirm the model year and specification.
- Confirmed size and layout. Measured length, width and bedroom count, not an advert headline.
- Heating and glazing. Whether central heating and double glazing were fitted, and whether the heating works.
- Condition. Damp, roof, floors, windows, cladding and chassis condition matter more than cosmetic finish.
- Appliances and fittings. Whether they are present, safe and working.
- Collection access. Ground conditions, access for the transport vehicle and the caravan's width all affect cost.
- Pitch or no pitch. A trade buyer is buying the caravan, not the pitch, so pitch value and site-fee packages do not transfer.
Known features and quirks
- Wide 14ft body: check access for collection.
- Lodge and park home versions share the name; check the plate and certificate.
FAQs
How long has the Knightsbridge been made?
Since at least 2009, when Leisuredays reviewed it, and it is still listed by Pemberton in 2026.
Does a BS 3632 residential specification change anything?
Ask for the certificate if it is claimed. Some residential-spec caravans are sited on holiday-only parks, so how the caravan is sited and used matters as well as how it was built.
Can I sell it and keep the pitch?
No. A trade buyer buys the caravan and removes it. Talk to your park about notice, any final site fees and what happens to the pitch.
