Last valuation guide update: October 2026

Introduction

Looking up a Swift Antibes value, or trying to separate it from a Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire or Moselle with a similar French place name? The Antibes was a mid-to-upper Swift holiday home with a distinctive front elevation. This guide sticks to dated review and brochure evidence, notes where dealer size labels disagree with the factory sheet, and treats the trade figure as an individual quote.

Model history

Leisuredays reviewed the Swift Antibes on 24 February 2017 as completely new for that season, with two layouts. The review describes an architectural front design, bonded sandwich exterior walls clad in aluminium or Canexel, black steel pantile roof, moulded GRP bargeboards, Fusion fully galvanised chassis from Bankside Patterson with a 10-year finish warranty, and anthracite uPVC windows. The reviewed soft-furnishing story is contemporary open-plan living with a feature TV wall, freestanding L-shaped sofa with fold-out bed, dinette, and an ensuite shower on the 2-bed layout.

Size wording needs care. The review introduction discusses a 38 ft x 12 ft two-bedroom model, while the factfile lists 39 ft x 12 ft for that layout and 40 ft x 12 ft for the three-bedroom. Swift's 2022 holiday home brochure aligns with the factfile: 39' x 12' 2-bed and 40' x 12' 3-bed, with bed sizes tabulated. Many UK park adverts still title 2-bed examples as 38 x 12. For valuation, measure the unit and read the plate.

The 2017 review's ex-works figure was from £36,390 including VAT, with the usual note that parks add transport, siting and other charges. Central heating was not standard; the review treated a gas combi system as a worthwhile option and noted the absence of a lounge fire as standard.

Swift's 2022 brochure still included Antibes in the holiday-home line-up alongside Vendee, Moselle, Bordeaux / Bordeaux Escape, Burgundy, Loire and Ardennes, with Antibes sharing the then Superior Standard pack plus model-specific extras (architectural front, sandy beige woodgrain aluminium, anthracite windows, integrated microwave and fridge-freezer, and so on).

Swift's 2026 holiday homes brochure lists other French and regional names (including Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, Provence, Margaux and Morlaix) and does not list Antibes. The Antibes is also not on Swift's live holiday-home range (checked October 2026). That shows it is not in the current published range; it is not by itself a dated factory end-year notice.

Keep Antibes distinct from:

  • Bordeaux / Bordeaux Escape: different front treatments and layout family
  • Burgundy: separate value-led range in Swift material
  • Loire: includes 10 ft as well as 12 ft stories in Swift material; different product
  • Moselle: separate model with its own customisable front-lounge story in 2022 material

How to identify a Swift Antibes

  • Start with the paperwork, then check the caravan. Start with the manufacturer plate, serial/chassis information and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the actual dimensions, layout and specification.
  • Front elevation cue. Architectural front with large sliding or patio-style glazing is the design story in the 2017 review and 2022 brochure. Useful as a clue, not as sole proof.
  • Chassis. Fusion galvanised chassis with a 10-year finish warranty is called out in period material.
  • Measure length. Expect brochure 39 x 12 (2-bed) or 40 x 12 (3-bed). If an advert says 38 x 12, still measure.
  • Ensuite on 2-bed. Period material describes an ensuite shower to the master on the 2-bed layout, plus a family bathroom.
  • Heating check. Look for whether a gas combi / radiator system was actually fitted. The 2017 review treated it as optional.

Specs and typical layout

2017 review / 2022 brochure family (treat options carefully):

  • 39 x 12 2-bedroom or 40 x 12 3-bedroom (brochure)
  • BS EN 1647 (2017 review)
  • Bonded sandwich walls; coated steel pantile roof; aluminium or Canexel cladding options in period material
  • Open-plan lounge with freestanding L-shaped sofa and fold-out bed; feature TV wall; dinette with bench and chairs in brochure descriptions
  • Kitchen with glass-fronted oven and grill, four-burner hob, integrated microwave and fridge-freezer on the Superior / Antibes feature lists
  • Insulation figures in the 2017 review: 50 mm floor, 90 mm roof, 30 mm walls, lagged underfloor pipes
  • Options commonly listed: Thermaglas double glazing; sliding aspect front patio doors; environmental exterior; gas combi central heating; integrated dishwasher or washing machine; Bluetooth lounge audio

How much is a Swift Antibes worth?

Do not turn the 2017 ex-works figure into a used value. It is a historical new price before park margin.

Individual valuation recommended. We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference. The public figures below are asking prices, not trade values.

What would SCB actually pay?

We price the caravan in front of us. A 2017 example without central heating and a later, fully optioned 3-bed are not the same offer.

Our offer is for the caravan alone, with collection arranged by us. It is not a park retail price and not a best-case private sale to someone who also wants the pitch.

Online prices and price context

Asking prices checked October 2026 (sited packages; bases differ; VAT treatment not stated):

  • Sited park asking price: £44,995 for a 2017 Swift Antibes titled 38 ft x 12 ft, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, with ensuite shower claimed (Ladram Bay).
  • Sited park asking price: £50,000 for a 2019 Swift Antibes titled 38 x 12, 2 bedrooms, with double glazing, central heating, sliding patio doors, decking and 2025 site fees included in the advert wording (Crofthead Holiday Park).

These are asking prices only. They can include pitch, fees, decking and retailer margin.

Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean

  • Manufacturer RRP or ex-works price: what a new caravan cost from the factory or its price list in a given year. VAT treatment is not always stated, and siting, transport and connections are extra.
  • Dealer or park retail asking price: what a seller hopes to get. A sited park price usually includes the pitch, siting, connections, sometimes decking and site fees, and the seller's margin. An off-site dealer price usually includes refurbishment, warranty and margin.
  • Private asking price: often lower than retail, but the seller carries the risk, time and transport, and many parks restrict private sales on the pitch.
  • Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as Static Caravan Buyer pays for the caravan alone, collected from the pitch, with the buyer taking on transport, refurbishment and resale. It is lower than retail because those costs and risks move to the buyer.

An asking price is not a sale price, and none of the online figures in this guide is a trade value.

What affects Swift Antibes value?

  • Confirmed length and bedroom count (2-bed versus 3-bed).
  • Whether gas combi central heating and double glazing are fitted and working.
  • Damp, roof, front glazing seals and cladding (aluminium versus Canexel).
  • Whether freestanding furniture and kitchen appliances are still present.
  • Collection access and distance.
  • Pitch-inclusive adverts versus a removal sale.

Known features and quirks

  • 38 versus 39 ft labels. Factory brochure uses 39 x 12 for the 2-bed; many adverts say 38 x 12. Measure.
  • Heating was optional at launch. Reviewers and owners both flagged the lack of standard CH / lounge fire. Say what your caravan actually has.
  • French place-name confusion. Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire and Moselle are different Swift models. Do not borrow their specs.
  • Not in the 2026 brochure or live range. That shows it has left the current range, not a precise end year.

FAQs

What size is a Swift Antibes?

Swift's 2022 brochure lists 39 x 12 2-bedroom and 40 x 12 3-bedroom. Park adverts often say 38 x 12 for 2-bed examples. Measure yours and check the plate.

How is the Antibes different from a Swift Bordeaux or Burgundy?

They are separate model names in Swift's holiday-home range, with different design stories and layout families. Confirm from paperwork; do not swap specifications between them.

Does a Swift Antibes have central heating as standard?

Not in the 2017 Leisuredays review. Central heating was listed among key optional extras. Confirm on the individual caravan.

Is the Swift Antibes still made?

It appears in Swift's 2022 holiday home brochure but not in the 2026 brochure or on Swift's live range (checked October 2026). We could not establish a precise factory end year.

How much is a Swift Antibes worth?

Individual valuation recommended. Sited asking prices checked in October 2026 were around £44,995 and £50,000 on package bases that include the pitch. Those are not trade values.

Selling a Swift Antibes

If the park has written to you about age limits, or you would rather not wait for a buyer who also needs the pitch, a direct trade sale is often the simpler route.

We buy Swift Antibes holiday homes across the UK.

A 2-bed without CH and a later optional-spec 3-bed need different notes on the valuation. Send the details and we will price the caravan you actually have.

SCB process

  1. Call 0800 644 5000 or use the free offer form on our website.
  2. Tell us what the manufacturer plate and paperwork say: the year, size, bedrooms, heating and glazing, condition and where the caravan is sited. Photos help.
  3. Our team normally aims to contact you within 24 hours, and aims to make an offer within 48 hours of that contact. These are aims, not guarantees.
  4. If you accept, we arrange collection on a date that works for you and the park.
  5. Payment is made on collection day before the caravan is loaded.
