Looking up a Swift Burgundy value, a 2021 or 2022 Burgundy, or the 2026 version? Burgundy is a long-running Swift holiday-home name, aimed at families who want a practical 12 ft static caravan rather than a lodge. Lengths, bed sizes and even whether central heating and double glazing are standard have changed over the years. This guide keeps the generations separate and leaves the cash figure as a quote.

Swift Burgundy quick guide

Manufacturer Swift Holiday Homes (Swift Group)
Place in the range Practical family holiday home, not a lodge. The 2010 review called it Swift's entry-level holiday home
How old is the name? Established in Swift's static range by at least 2010. Swift says it launched its first holiday home in 2004. We could not establish the first Burgundy production year
2010 review 2 bedrooms; the text says 32 x 12, the fact file says 35 x 12. Double glazing, gas central heating and galvanised chassis all optional
2021 review layouts 29 x 12 2-bed; 33 x 12 2-bed; 36 x 12 2-bed and 3-bed; 38 x 12 3-bed
Current layouts (Swift) 29 x 12 2-bed; 32 x 12 2-bed; 36 x 12 2-bed; 36 x 12 3-bed; 38 x 12 2-bed; 39 x 12 3-bed
Current spec highlights Thermaglas double glazing, condensing gas combi central heating, Fusion galvanised chassis, king-size bed, ensuite except the 29 ft
Berths (Swift technical table) 4 on the 2-bedroom layouts, 6 on the 3-bedroom layouts
Valuation approach Individual valuation recommended. Heating and glazing depend heavily on the year, so do not price an older optional-spec caravan from a 2026 figure.
Current status Currently listed in Swift's 2027-season online holiday-home range (checked October 2026), with six layouts. The downloadable 2027 brochure does not contain a dedicated Burgundy section; that does not change its current online-range status

Model history

Early history. Burgundy was established in Swift's static-caravan range by at least 2010. Later secondary commentary describes it as one of Swift's early holiday-home names, but an exact first production year was not established in the manufacturer material checked. Swift's own website says it launched its very first holiday home in 2004. That dates Swift's holiday-home business, not the first Burgundy.

2010. Leisuredays reviewed the Swift Burgundy in November 2010 as Swift's entry-level holiday home, with 2 bedrooms. The review text describes a 32 x 12, but the fact file at the end says 35 x 12, so the review does not settle the length. In that review:

  • The standard chassis was Zinphos painted with a three-year warranty. A galvanised chassis with a 10-year warranty was optional
  • Double glazing and gas central heating were optional extras. A gas fire was fitted in the lounge
  • Woodgrain textured aluminium cladding, vaulted ceilings, Verona light oak finish
  • Lounge seating with a pull-out bed, which the review says increased sleeping from four to six
  • Build standard EN 1647
  • Ex-works price: £18,885. That is a historical new price

2021. Leisuredays' March 2021 review lists five layouts: 29 x 12 2-bed, 33 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 3-bed and 38 x 12 3-bed. The caravan reviewed was the 36 x 12 2-bed, built to EN 1647, on a Fusion galvanised chassis, with an apex roof and aluminium cladding. Key extras listed then included alternative colours, Therma-glaze double glazing, central heating, Bluetooth and a freestanding dining set. So a 2021 Burgundy does not automatically have central heating or double glazing. Ex-works price in the review: £32,680. The same article spotted a sited 2021 classified in Cornwall at £67,450.

2022. Swift's 2022 holiday-home brochure shows Burgundy in 29 x 12, 33 x 12, 36 x 12 (2-bed and 3-bed) and 38 x 12 3-bed, with a main bed of about 6 ft 3 in by 4 ft 6 in, and lists Sandy Beige woodgrain textured aluminium as the standard exterior finish.

2026. Swift's 2026 brochure calls the Burgundy "new for 2026", and Leisuredays' November 2025 review describes a welcome return for 2026. Swift lists six layouts: 29 x 12 2-bed, 32 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 3-bed, 38 x 12 2-bed and 39 x 12 3-bed. Note the changes against the 2021 and 2022 material: 32 x 12 instead of 33 x 12, a new 39 x 12 3-bed, and a 38 x 12 that is now a 2-bed rather than a 3-bed. Double glazing, gas combi central heating and a king-size bed are part of the standard description. Leisuredays quoted an approximate ex-works price of £55,426 for the 2026 36 x 12 2-bed it reviewed.

Current position. Burgundy is currently listed in Swift's 2027-season online holiday-home range. Swift's live website (checked October 2026) is promoting the 2027 season and includes Burgundy in that range, with a product page showing the six layouts above. The downloadable 2027 brochure does not contain a dedicated Burgundy section (its holiday-home pages cover the Vendee, Clermont, Morlaix, Margaux, Bordeaux, Provence, Loire and Royan). That brochure gap does not mean the model is discontinued or of uncertain current status.

How to identify a Swift Burgundy

  • Start with the paperwork, then check the caravan. Start with the manufacturer plate, serial/chassis information and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the actual dimensions, layout and specification. Swift also builds dealer specials, models commissioned by dealers with their own twist on standard variants, so the equipment can differ from the brochure.
  • Width. The Burgundy layouts in the sources checked are all 12 ft wide. A 10 ft caravan with a similar interior is a different Swift model.
  • Length helps date it, but not on its own. 33 x 12 appears in the 2021 and 2022 material. 39 x 12 appears in the 2026 list. 32 x 12 appears in the 2026 list and also in the text of the 2010 review. 38 x 12 has been a 3-bed (2021 and 2022) and a 2-bed (2026). Do not assume the bedroom count or the year from length alone.
  • Exterior. Swift's live Burgundy product page (checked October 2026) states Sandy Beige aluminium exterior cladding as the current standard. The 2022 and 2026 brochures also describe Sandy Beige woodgrain textured aluminium as the standard finish. Anthracite window frames and other cladding colours are options on the current material.
  • Interior. Mint green accents, terrazzo-style worktops and gold-coloured details are the 2026 look Swift describes. Soft furnishings are a weak way to date a caravan once an owner has replaced them.
  • Ensuite. Swift's current material says ensuite except the 29 ft model. Leisuredays' 2021 and 2026 reviews of the 36 x 12 2-bed both describe that ensuite as a WC and basin, without a shower, with the shower in the main washroom. Do not advertise an ensuite shower unless you have seen one.

Specs and typical layout

Current Swift specification (product page and 2026 brochure):

  • Six layouts, all 12 ft wide, as in the quick guide
  • Fusion galvanised chassis with the finish warrantied for ten years; 3-year manufacturer and 5-year structural warranties on Swift's current wording
  • Thermaglas uPVC double glazing; insulation quoted by Swift as 80 mm floor, 100 mm roof, 60 mm walls
  • Condensing gas combi-boiler central heating and hot water
  • Sandy Beige aluminium exterior cladding as the current standard finish
  • Fixed sofa with fold-out bed; large footstool on the 29 ft and 32 ft
  • U-shaped kitchen, four-burner gas hob, oven and grill, integrated fridge-freezer and microwave, freestanding dining table
  • King-size bed (Swift's technical table gives 6 ft 3 in x 5 ft 0 in) with Duvalay Aurora mattress; ensuite except 29 ft
  • Twin beds in the other bedroom or bedrooms
  • Main washroom with thermostatic shower, dual-flush WC and towel radiator
  • Options include a front sliding door, other cladding colours, Bluetooth ceiling speakers, a slimline dishwasher, lift-up bed storage, a Gazunder bed in the twin room, a smart command system and a Velux window

Berths. Swift's current technical table lists four berths for the 2-bedroom layouts and six for the 3-bedroom layouts. Some marketing material also describes a fold-out lounge bed, so use the specification for the exact caravan rather than increasing the advertised berth count yourself. Swift's 2026 brochure prints the same figures as "4 (Plus 2)" and "6 (Plus 2)".

2026 review notes on the 36 x 12 2-bed (Leisuredays):

  • Build standard BS EN 1647
  • Sleeps four in that fact file
  • L-shaped lounge seat, separate dining table and four chairs
  • Reviewer noted no electric fire on the caravan they saw
  • Master ensuite without a shower
  • Approximate ex-works £55,426

2021 review notes on the 36 x 12 2-bed (Leisuredays):

  • EN 1647, Fusion chassis, apex roof
  • L-shaped lounge seat, electric fire on that caravan, dining area in the lounge
  • Integrated microwave and fridge-freezer
  • Master ensuite is WC and basin only; shower shared in the main bathroom
  • Double bed on legs with a Duvalay mattress, not described as a king
  • Central heating and upgraded double glazing listed among the options
  • Ex-works £32,680

What changed between generations (in the sources checked):

  • Central heating and double glazing: optional in 2010 and 2021; standard in the 2026 material
  • Main bed: about 4 ft 6 in wide on the 2022 brochure page; king-size (5 ft) on the current specification
  • Layout set: 33 ft 2-bed and 38 ft 3-bed in 2021 and 2022; 32 ft 2-bed, 38 ft 2-bed and 39 ft 3-bed in 2026

How much is a Swift Burgundy worth?

New prices and park adverts are easy to find and easy to misuse. Published ex-works figures have ranged from £18,885 (2010) to £32,680 (2021) to about £55,426 (2026 review), and a checked sited asking price for a 2022 36 x 12 2-bed is £44,995 including a hot tub and decking. None of these is a cash offer for a used Burgundy with the pitch left behind.

New-price advertising also varies with specification, options, delivery and siting basis, so a dealer or park new price can differ widely from a review's ex-works figure. Swift's own product page shows the model price as POA and directs buyers to a park or distributor.

Individual valuation recommended. Values vary significantly by year, layout, whether heating and double glazing were fitted, condition and park package.

We do not have reliable trade data for the Burgundy, and Static Caravan Buyer is not going to invent a trade price band from a list price or a single park advert.

What would Static Caravan Buyer actually pay for a Swift Burgundy?

We quote the individual caravan: year, which 12 ft layout it is, 2-bed or 3-bed, whether central heating and double glazing are actually fitted, damp, and collection. A 29 ft 2-bed without an ensuite is not priced as a 39 ft 3-bed.

The figure is cash for the caravan, collection arranged. It is not the ex-works price, not a sited classified, and not a hot-tub package.

Swift Burgundy prices you may see online

  • Historical new prices (review ex-works): £18,885 (2010 review), £32,680 (2021 review) and approximately £55,426 (2026 review, 36 x 12 2-bed).
  • Sited classified quoted in the 2021 review: £67,450 (Cornwall).
  • Sited park asking price, checked October 2026: £44,995 for a 2022 36 x 12 2-bed, sleeps 6, with decking, inventory and a 4-person hot tub (Coldstream Holiday Park). The hot tub and decking are not the caravan.

Retail asking price is not the same as a private sale value, and neither is the same as a trade purchase price.

  • Trade / cash buyer: a removal price. Often the practical choice when the park will not pass the pitch to a private buyer.
  • Private sale: can be higher, particularly off-site, if the buyer wants that layout and will arrange transport.
  • Retail / park asking price: pitch, decking, hot tub and inventory can all be inside the number, as the £44,995 example shows.

What affects Swift Burgundy value?

  • Year, and whether central heating and double glazing are fitted. They were options in the 2010 and 2021 reviews and standard in the 2026 material.
  • Layout: 29, 32, 33, 36, 38 or 39 ft, and 2-bed versus 3-bed.
  • Ensuite present or not (not on the current 29 ft), and that the ensuite is often a WC and basin rather than a shower.
  • King-size bed and lift-up storage versus an older 4 ft 6 in double.
  • Damp, roof, front window or optional sliding door.
  • Chassis type and condition: painted on the 2010 review model unless the galvanised option was taken.
  • Dealer specials that add or remove equipment.
  • Collection of a 12 ft body and the distance from the park.
  • Anything in the advert that is not the caravan: hot tub, decking, the season's site fees.

Known features and quirks

  • The name returned for 2026. Swift's 2026 brochure calls it new for 2026 and Leisuredays called it a welcome return, which suggests a gap. Do not assume every recent family Swift is a Burgundy.
  • Lengths shuffled. 33 x 12 in the 2021 and 2022 material, 32 x 12 and 39 x 12 on the 2026 list, and 38 x 12 changing from 3-bed to 2-bed. This is the mistake to avoid in a valuation.
  • Standard spec moved up. Gas central heating and Thermaglas double glazing are written as standard for the current model. In the 2010 and 2021 reviews they were options. A used caravan without them should be described, and priced, that way.
  • Ensuite without a shower appears in both the 2021 and 2026 36 x 12 reviews. The advert should not imply a master shower.
  • Bed size language changed. The 2022 brochure gives a 4 ft 6 in double. The current specification says king-size. Do not copy the new word onto an older caravan.
  • Current standard cladding is Sandy Beige. Optional colours may still appear on dealer specials or ordered options, so describe what is actually on your caravan.

Swift Burgundy FAQs

What sizes is the Swift Burgundy?

All the Burgundy layouts we found are 12 ft wide. The current Swift list is 29 x 12 2-bed, 32 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 2-bed, 36 x 12 3-bed, 38 x 12 2-bed and 39 x 12 3-bed. The 2021 review listed 29 x 12, 33 x 12, 36 x 12 (2-bed and 3-bed) and 38 x 12 3-bed. The 2010 review gives both 32 x 12 and 35 x 12 for the same caravan. Measure yours.

Is the Swift Burgundy double glazed?

It depends heavily on the year. Thermaglas double glazing is standard in Swift's 2026 material. In the 2010 and 2021 reviews, double glazing was an optional extra, so an older Burgundy may or may not have it.

Does the Swift Burgundy have central heating?

Again, it depends on the year. Condensing gas combi central heating is standard in the 2026 material. In the 2010 and 2021 reviews, central heating was optional. Check what is actually fitted.

Does the Swift Burgundy have an ensuite?

Swift's current specification includes an ensuite on every layout except the 29 ft. Leisuredays' 2021 and 2026 reviews describe the 36 x 12 2-bed ensuite as a WC and basin without a shower.

How much is a used Swift Burgundy worth?

We do not publish a trade price band for the Burgundy because we do not have reliable trade data. Ex-works and park prices are new or asking prices, not used values. A cash offer depends on the year, layout, whether heating and glazing are fitted, and condition.

Selling a Swift Burgundy

Burgundy models are common enough that private buyers exist, and common enough that park age rules still strand them. A cash sale is the direct route when you want the caravan collected and the pitch cleared.

We buy Swift Burgundy holiday homes across the UK, older layouts and 2026-spec, 2-bed and 3-bed, in any condition. No estate agent fees, no commission, and we arrange collection. Payment is made on collection day before the caravan is loaded.

  1. Call 0800 644 5000 or use the free offer form on the site.
  2. Tell us the year, exact size, 2-bed or 3-bed, whether it has central heating and double glazing, and where the caravan is sited.
  3. Our team normally aims to contact you within 24 hours, and we aim to make a free, no-obligation cash offer within 48 hours of that contact. That is our aim, not a guarantee.
  4. If you accept, we arrange a collection date that works for you.

If you are not sure which generation you have, the plate, the paperwork and a tape measure are enough. We would rather price the caravan you have than the layout in a brochure.
