Introduction

The Swift Provence is a recent model, new for the 2024 season and sold since 2026 as Provence Bay or Provence Outlook. This guide explains the two versions, the documented layouts, and how a nearly new Provence is valued when you sell.

Model history

Swift introduced the Provence for the 2024 season with a new front bay window. For 2026 Swift refreshed the range and sold it in two versions: Provence Bay, with a panoramic bay window, and Provence Outlook, with a full-height front window and a different lounge layout. Leisuredays gave the 2026 35 x 12 Bay an approximate ex-works price of £52,522.

In October 2026 Swift lists six Provence layouts: 35 x 12 and 38 x 12 two-bed and 39 x 12 three-bed, each in Bay and Outlook form. Leisuredays also lists a 32ft Bay; we could not confirm it on Swift's own layout list.

How to identify a Swift Provence

  • Start with the plate and paperwork. Check the manufacturer plate, serial or chassis number and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the measured size, layout and specification.
  • Front window: a panoramic bay means Provence Bay; a full-height flat front window means Provence Outlook.
  • Year: 2024 and 2025 models predate the Bay and Outlook naming; check the plate.
  • Measure it yourself. Advert headlines often round sizes or misstate the width.

Specs and typical layout

This is a summary of the sources we used, not a full factory specification for every year.

  • Layouts (Swift, October 2026): 35 x 12 2 bed, 38 x 12 2 bed, 39 x 12 3 bed, each in Bay or Outlook form
  • Standard (2027 dealer spec): fully galvanised Fusion chassis, bonded walls, Thermaglas uPVC double glazing, condensing combi central heating, integrated fridge freezer and microwave
  • Countryside-style interior

How much is a Swift Provence worth?

There is no single figure for a Swift Provence. A cash offer depends on the individual caravan: its year, confirmed size and layout, specification, condition, and what collection involves. Even on a recent model, the year, version, layout and what is included make too much difference for a single figure.

Individual valuation recommended.

What would SCB actually pay?

We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference.

What we pay for a Swift Provence is a trade price for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch. It will be below park, dealer and private asking prices, because those include things a trade buyer does not get (a pitch, siting, site-fee packages, warranties and the seller's margin) and leave out costs a trade buyer carries (collection, transport, refurbishment and resale).

Online prices and price context

  • Manufacturer ex-works (approx.): £52,522 for a 2026 Provence Bay 35 x 12 (Leisuredays, February 2026)
  • Dealer 'from' prices: £38,495 (35 x 12) to £40,495 (39 x 12) at UK Caravan Centre, October 2026. The page does not say whether VAT, delivery or siting are included, and these are well below the ex-works figure, so check what they cover
  • Park asking price: a 2026 35 x 12 sited in Bala at £56,000 (Leisuredays classified note)
  • Swift's own product page shows the price as POA in October 2026

New caravan prices may or may not include VAT, delivery, siting and connections. A sited park price also includes the pitch and the park's margin.

Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean

  • Manufacturer RRP or list price: what the maker quotes for a new caravan, usually before options, delivery, siting and pitch fees. Check whether VAT is included.
  • Ex-works price: the factory price for a new unit before delivery and siting; review sites quote it for the model year they tested.
  • Dealer retail asking price: a dealer's price for new or used stock. Off-site dealer prices usually exclude a pitch; dealer margin is built in.
  • Sited park asking price: what a park asks for a caravan already on a pitch. It often includes siting, connections, steps, decking and sometimes a period of site fees, plus the park's margin.
  • Private asking price: what an owner hopes to get, often with the caravan staying on its pitch, subject to park approval and any park commission.
  • Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as SCB pays for the caravan itself, removed from the pitch and collected. It is lower than retail because the buyer pays for collection, transport, any refurbishment, a new pitch or resale, and takes on the risk.

An asking price is not a sale price, and neither is what a trade buyer pays. None of the figures in this guide is an SCB purchase price.

What affects Swift Provence value?

  • Year and paperwork. The plate, serial number and any original paperwork confirm the model year and specification.
  • Confirmed size and layout. Measured length, width and bedroom count, not an advert headline.
  • Heating and glazing. Whether central heating and double glazing were fitted, and whether the heating works.
  • Condition. Damp, roof, floors, windows, cladding and chassis condition matter more than cosmetic finish.
  • Appliances and fittings. Whether they are present, safe and working.
  • Collection access. Ground conditions, access for the transport vehicle and the caravan's width all affect cost.
  • Pitch or no pitch. A trade buyer is buying the caravan, not the pitch, so pitch value and site-fee packages do not transfer.

Known features and quirks

  • Two versions under one name: check whether yours is Bay or Outlook.
  • The 32ft Bay listed by Leisuredays does not appear on Swift's own layout list; confirm the size from the plate.

FAQs

When was the Swift Provence launched?

It was new for the 2024 season, and Swift refreshed it for 2026 as Provence Bay and Provence Outlook.

Does the Provence have central heating?

Current dealer spec lists condensing combi central heating and double glazing as standard. Some 2025 adverts list them as included extras, so confirm on yours.

Can I sell it and keep the pitch?

No. A trade buyer buys the caravan and removes it. Talk to your park about notice, any final site fees and what happens to the pitch.
