Last valuation guide update: October 2026
Introduction
Looking up a Willerby Avonmore value, a 40 x 14 Avonmore, or what a used Avonmore is worth once the pitch is taken out of the advert? Avonmore was a mid-range Willerby holiday-home name with both 12 ft and later 14 ft layouts. This guide sticks to what a dated manufacturer-style brochure, a contemporaneous review and park adverts actually show, and treats the trade figure as an individual quote.
Willerby Avonmore quick guide
| Manufacturer | Willerby, Hull |
| Place in the range | Mid-range / value-oriented holiday home in the material checked. Leisuredays' 2019 review called it good value for first-time buyers |
| How old is the name? | Launch copy reproduced by a dealer says the Avonmore was new for 2013, in 32 x 12, 35 x 12 and 38 x 12 sizes, and Leisuredays' 2019 review also dates the range to 2013. |
| Documented sizes (park brochure accurate as of 20 August 2018 / 2019 review) | 32 x 12 2-bed; 35 x 12 2-bed; 38 x 12 2-bed; 38 x 12 3-bed; 40 x 14 2-bed; 40 x 14 3-bed |

| Signature kit in that era | Simply Comfort modular sofa (described as exclusive to Avonmore in the brochure and review); select Simply Better Build features including Integritas Wall System; Glace aluminium cladding; white PVCu double glazing |
| Heating note | Brochure standard list showed a gas powered water heater; gas central heating with high-efficiency combi boiler appears under regularly specified options / on equipped park stock. Do not assume CH on every Avonmore |
| Trade value | Individual valuation recommended. |
| Current status | Not on Willerby's live holiday-home range (checked October 2026). No named replacement confirmed |
Model history
2013 launch. Launch copy reproduced on a dealer page for a 2013 caravan says the Avonmore was new for 2013, in 32 x 12, 35 x 12 and 38 x 12 sizes, and that every Avonmore had an ensuite toilet and a separate family shower room. Leisuredays' July 2019 review also says the range had been around since 2013. Avonmore caravans date from 2013 onwards.
2018 to 2019 size expansion. A park-hosted Avonmore brochure (product information stated as accurate as of 20 August 2018) lists six sizes including new 40 x 14 2-bed and 3-bed models for that generation, alongside 32 x 12, 35 x 12 and 38 x 12 2-bed and 3-bed layouts. Marketing copy positions Avonmore as "premium without the price tag", with selected Simply Better Build features and a deluxe pack story.
2019 review model. Leisuredays reviewed a 35 x 12 2-bed Avonmore: Glace aluminium cladding, uPVC double glazing, optional double front sliding doors on the review unit, Simply Comfort modular sofa, freestanding dining, integrated microwave, cooker and 70/30 fridge/freezer, family shower room and master ensuite WC. Build standard stated as EN 1647. Ex-works: £33,762. A brand-new sited classified spotted then in North Wales was £42,995. Other sizes listed in that review match the six-size set above.
Later used stock. Park and dealer adverts checked for this research still show Avonmore holiday homes dated into the late 2010s and around 2020, including 38 x 12 and 40 x 14 examples. Willerby still showed an Avonmore 38 x 12 at its February 2020 shows. Those adverts are individual caravans, not a factory year-by-year range sheet.
Current absence. Avonmore does not appear in Willerby's live holiday-home range (checked October 2026), which lists names such as Rio, Malton, Sheraton and Dorchester. Absence from the current range is not proof of the last production year and does not name a successor.
Do not confuse Avonmore with Willerby's current Rio, Sheraton, Dorchester or Aspen lines, or with older names such as Herald.
How to identify a Willerby Avonmore
- Start with the paperwork, then check the caravan. Start with the manufacturer plate, serial/chassis information and any original paperwork, then confirm the model against the actual dimensions, layout and specification. Willerby's help centre says it may be able to find a home's age from the serial number, although it does not hold records for every home.
- Width. Documented layouts in the brochure and review are 12 ft or 14 ft. A 10 ft caravan is not identified from an Avonmore advert title alone.
- Simply Comfort modular sofa. Period marketing and the 2019 review treat the reconfigurable modular sofa as an Avonmore signature. Freestanding sofas on a used unit may have been rearranged or replaced, so treat this as a clue, not proof.
- Ensuite WC plus family shower room. The 2013 launch copy says every Avonmore had both. Brochure and review descriptions put an en-suite WC on the master and a separate family shower room. Do not assume a shower ensuite from the word ensuite alone.
- Cladding. Glace aluminium is the standard colour in the brochure material checked. Environmental green and rigid vinyl appear among options in the review options list.

How much is a Willerby Avonmore worth?
Historical ex-works figures and sited park asking prices are not cash offers for a removal sale.
Individual valuation recommended. We do not publish a fixed trade-value band for this model because year, specification, condition and collection requirements can make too much difference. A 2013 32 x 12 with a water heater only and a 2019 40 x 14 3-bed with central heating and a galvanised chassis are very different caravans, so one range would mislead.
What would SCB actually pay?
We quote the individual caravan: year, exact size, 2-bed or 3-bed, whether gas central heating and a galvanised chassis are fitted, damp, and collection. A 32 x 12 without central heating is not priced as a loaded 40 x 14 park package.
The figure is for the caravan alone, with collection arranged by us. It is not a 2019 ex-works figure and not a site-fees-included park asking price.
Online prices and price context
Asking prices only; bases differ and VAT treatment is not stated. Park figures checked October 2026:
- Historical new price (ex-works, from review): £33,762 for the 2019 35 x 12 review model.
- Historical sited asking (review-era classified): £42,995 for a brand-new 35 x 12 Avonmore spotted sited in North Wales in the 2019 Leisuredays write-up.
- Sited park asking price: £34,995 for a 2019 Avonmore described as 40 x 14, 3 bedrooms, with double sliding front doors, Simply Comfort modular sofa, galvanised chassis and full-size dishwasher (Seafield Park, Seahouses).
- Sited park asking price: £39,995 for a pre-owned Avonmore 38 x 12, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, front patio doors, freestanding sofas, en-suite WC and family shower room, decking not included (Discover Parks / Arrow Bank sales sheet).
Retail vs private vs trade: what the numbers mean
- Manufacturer RRP or ex-works price: what a new caravan cost from the factory or its price list in a given year. VAT treatment is not always stated, and siting, transport and connections are extra.
- Dealer or park retail asking price: what a seller hopes to get. A sited park price usually includes the pitch, siting, connections, sometimes decking and site fees, and the seller's margin. An off-site dealer price usually includes refurbishment, warranty and margin.
- Private asking price: often lower than retail, but the seller carries the risk, time and transport, and many parks restrict private sales on the pitch.
- Trade or cash buyer value: what a buyer such as Static Caravan Buyer pays for the caravan alone, collected from the pitch, with the buyer taking on transport, refurbishment and resale. It is lower than retail because those costs and risks move to the buyer.
An asking price is not a sale price, and none of the online figures in this guide is a trade value.
What affects Willerby Avonmore value?
- Confirmed size: 32 x 12, 35 x 12, 38 x 12 and 40 x 14 do not appeal to the same buyer in the same way.
- 2-bed versus 3-bed.
- Gas central heating present and working, versus water heater only.
- Galvanised chassis versus painted / pre-galvanised only.
- Double glazing intact; patio or sliding front doors if fitted.
- Damp, roof and window seals.
- Whether the Simply Comfort modular sofa and kitchen appliances are still there.
- Collection access. A 14 ft body is a different move from a 12 ft body.
- Pitch included or not.
Park age limits matter to a private buyer who needs the pitch. They matter less when the caravan is being bought to come off the site.
Known features and quirks
- Modular sofa. The Simply Comfort system was a period selling point. Missing or replaced seating changes how the lounge feels and what a buyer expects.
- Ensuite means WC on the brochure description. Buyers who expect a shower ensuite will be disappointed if nobody checked.
- 14 ft arrived later. The 2013 launch sizes were all 12 ft; 40 x 14 layouts appear in the 2018 brochure. Do not assume every Avonmore is 40 x 14.
- Not a current Willerby. Comparing an Avonmore asking price with a new Rio or Sheraton Anniversary list price mixes different products.
- Heating varied. Brochure standard water heating and optional combi central heating are not the same specification.

- If you accept, we arrange collection on a date that works for you and the park.
